American Legion Post 154
American Legion Post #154 will hold an Air Conditioner Fund Raising
Auction on November 9th from 4 till 8 pm. Tickets for the event are
$10.00 and are available in advance through the Legion Hall or at the
door the day of the auction. Ticket holders can enjoy a Country Rib
Dinner with live entertainment and the opportunity to bid at the
auction. There are some great items available to bid on including a
beach bike, a boat motor, many paintings by various local artists, a DVD
player and a 1992 Ford Van !!! So, come out and have fun and help
support a much needed cause. The Steak Dinner for November the 10th has
been canceled for this month and the meeting for November the 11th has
been changed to November the 18th. Also there will be a Flag Retirement
Ceremony on November 10th at 3pm at the Oceanside / Savannah Beach
Nursing Center so mark you calenders so you don’t miss out on these
events. Don’t forget Bingo every Friday night and Horseshoes every
Saturday night. Open 7 days a week! 5pm - 10pm.

Delta Omega Oyster Roast - Delta Omega Sorority will hold their
First Annual Benefit Oyster Roast. This event will be held at the Crab
Shack Party Shack Saturday, Nov. 9th from 12:00 - 5:00. Tickets are
$15.00 at the door on the day of the event. Door prizes to be given out.
November 16th - 17th
3rd Annual Novemberfest 10am-5pm - The Novemberfest is a
celebration of the season. This Art Festival brings together over 25
artists from the Southeast along with many locally known artists. There
will be many gifts for the Holiday. Such as, paintings, pottery,
baskets, candles and soaps, stain glass, birdhouses, and much more.
There will be live music and refreshments all weekend. This event is
