different occasions taking off at high speed. The vehicle was making
numerous stops and take offs at unsafe speeds. When the officer stopped
the driver, she stated that she was looking for her 21 year-old son who
had gone out for the night. She was very upset and crying. The officer

A car was discovered in a ditch with the driver nowhere to be found and
the car unlocked. A friend took the police to the car owner's
residence. Upon investigation the driver stated that while backing the
car down the road, she accidentally went into the ditch. She stated she
would take the responsibility for getting the car out. She later
returned to the station to look at the police report to see if they had
found her prescription drugs, cell phone ($100 value), prescription
sunglasses ($240 value). She said they might have fallen out of the
window when her car went into the ditch. She stated that the missing
items had fallen into the water in the ditch and went out with the tide.
