Officers were called to an area of Butler Ave. for a fight in progress. The complainant stated that he was riding down Butler with his window down and a 10 year old girl squirted the inside of his vehicle with water. On this date there is the Annual Beach Bum Parade, which is essentially a large water gun fight, and the event was still in progress. He stated he exited his vehicle and began to scold the child on her actions, when an argument ensued with him and the child's parents. He stated that he was not injured or struck during the incident. There were approximately 20 bystanders who stated that the complainant was yelling at the child, and verbally abusive to her. The young girl was extremely upset and was crying, stating that he yelled at her and scared her. She was so upset that at one point she was vomiting. Her parents stated that he was highly irrational and yelling at everyone on the scene. No warrants were issued concerning the incident and he stated he just wanted to tell the parents how they should take responsibility for their child. Officers escorted him back to his vehicle because he was afraid of the crowd.


Over Exposed!!!

Officers received a call from a complainant who stated that while she was lying on the beach, she observed a man sitting on a seat on the beach crossover watching her. She looked away for a moment and when she looked back again, he had exposed himself. She screamed and jumped up and the unknown male fled the scene.
