Cry Babies
By Howard Rouse
The mops have begun
throwing mud and putting up signs with derogatory likenesses of Crawford
and the guys. I'm not necessarily political, but, these self
proclaimed household cleaning agents are irritating to the nose and
throat. Keep out of the reach of children. Warning! If taken seriously,
do not induce vomiting! It will induce itself.
There once was a group on
the council
Whose smarts were no more than an ounce full
The voters got hot
and wrung out the mop
Now they cry every day quite a pan full
Where's the money, we say, it was lost in your day,
and you try to shift blame on the heroes.
Heroes, we say, the voters chose it that way.
Now, you cry wolf like big zeros.
Go away now you babies.
Bird man and the ladies.
We have what we want on the council.
You've had your poor day,
yet you're still in the way.
Go away, cause we're already handsful
Nowhere we've been have we seen such a den
of sore losers and cry babies daily.
You slandered them all.
It caused your downfall.
Take your medicine and go away gayly.
One thing left to say.
Come next voting day.
The voters will make their resound.
You'll find once again, you'll lose in the end.
But yet, will you still be around?
I know it's after the
fact, but I would like to know why the parking dept. retires at their
normal hours when in the evening such as the 3rd. Of July (fireworks)
thousands of people show up to an already full parking lot. The lot is
not roped off to indicate a full lot. Everyone is standing everywhere
they can and hundreds and hundreds of autos are continuing to flow
through the lot. Everyone was remarking about this most dangerous
situation. I recently overheard a parking dept. employee remark "traffic
is the Police departments problem." If it's in the parking lot, would
that not be the parking departments responsibility? I guess since
everyone doesn't pay at those hours the parking department has no
interest. When someone's child gets run over and killed, where will the
finger point? The unfortunate driver? The most unfortunate parents? The
parking department? Heck no! not us, we weren't even at work!
Sincerely, Capt. Bobby Fuzlane
