Benny’s – On April 12th, Benny’s will bring back the Lonesome
Whistle Blue Grass Band. Feel free to join in the Karaoke fun on
Thursdays, Saturdays & Sunday nights.
Café Loco – Where the music is always happenin’. On Wednesdays
and Sundays you can listen to Jude playing tunes of Top 40 & Folk. On
Thursdays, Charlie Denison brings you Top 40 and the good ol’ Classic
Rock.
Doc’s – Famous Charlie Sherrill will play every Wednesday and
Sunday Night starting his performance at 8pm, on Friday and Saturday
starting at 9pm.
Dolphin Reef – End your day by catching a view and enjoying drink
specials Monday through Friday, 5-7pm.
Fannie’s – The familiar Christy Allen Band will be entertaining
you every Friday and Saturday nights from 9pm – 12am.
Foster’s Pub – Every Friday and Saturday clear your throat and

Huc-a-poos – Every Friday night you can expect Brock Butler LIVE!
On April 13th & 27th Christy Mitchell will give up some folk and
bluegrass tunes. On April 6th & 20th, the Boys bring to you Dave the

Rascals – On April 5th and 6th enjoy the entertainment from Don
Coyer. On April 12th and 13th get your dancing shoes on for Double Down.
On April 19th and 20th you can party with Two Left Feet. On April 26th
and 27th the N-X Change band will whirl you away on the dance floor.
When the bands aren’t playing you can step in to listen to D.J. Marty
Corley spinning your favorites Sunday thru Tuesday. On Wednesdays and
Thursdays you can sing your selected tunes to Karaoke starting at 9:30

April - Sea Horse Gallery in Tybee Oaks on Hwy 80, will feature a
new line of locally created Native American beaded earrings. Also
featured will be a new clothing line by local artisan, Melinda Urvant,

April - Nautilus Studio Gallery at 701 E Hwy 80 will be featuring
a talented new potter Antonia Harris and jewelry by Melissa Schneider,
paintings and prints by Linda Lindeborg, and etched glass by Rik

April - Jane Freyermuth Pottery Studio - Gifted potter, Jane
Freyermuth opens her studio to the public. For hours and information

April - Tango Restaurant at 1106 Hwy 80 East will feature the
work of local Artist, Margret Kuenni. The show will hang through May

April 1st - "Island Dreams and Beach B & B's" A Private showing
of the newest work by Tybee Artist, Debbie Brady Robinson. Opening
reception on Friday March 29th from 6 - 8 PM in the Atlantic Beacon
Gallery, and Hall of Frames, 1606 Butler Ave., (downtown) Tybee. For

April 1st - The Dragon Fly Studio will begin maintaining of
regular hours for the season. The Studio gallery will be open Wednesday
through Sunday from 11:00 am - 4:00 PM. Currently featuring work by

April 7th - The Atlantic Beacon Gallery will host, "The Dawning
Spring", a celebration of new
works by local and regional artists. The opening reception will be held
on Sunday, April 7th from 5pm - 7pm. The show will hang through July.
The Atlantic Beacon Gallery is open from 10:00 to 6:00 daily, closed

April 7th - "What a difference a Frame Makes". Hall of Frame's, a
custom framer and owner, Mark Robinson will feature various creative
framing designs, utilizing the same piece of Art in each presentation
will be Sunday evening from 5pm - 7pm in conjunction with the Atlantic

April 7th - Daylight Savings Time Begins.
April 13th - SEMI-ANNUAL TYBEE ISLAND BEACH SWEEP - All
volunteers are asked to meet at the Tybee Pavilion to receive
instructions and plastic bags for collection. The first 150 volunteers
will receive T-shirts provided by local businesses. Lunch will be served
to all volunteers. Volunteers should bring work gloves. The Sweep will
start at 10am.
April 13th - Shell Art, Etc. Please help us celebrate the Grand
Opening on that Saturday. There will be gourmet food tasting all day
long. Any purchase over $25 will receive a FREE GIFT. Artwork to be
raffled off to benefit the Old Post Theater. The raffle runs through
May. Find us at The Shops at Tybee Oaks at 1213 US Hwy 80 East. Hours

April 20th - St. Michael's School, the "Oceanview Auction" will
be at 7pm at the Tybee Shrine Club. Lots of Treasures Big & Small. For

April 20th - Marine Science Center - TIMSC Auction & Ocean
Celebration benefits MSC There will be a Live and Silent Auction between
4 - 7pm. Admission is $5.00and members are free - Tickets are available
at the MSC or Email -info@tybeemsc.org. Food, beer, wine & other
beverages provided by local area restaurants. There will be
entertainment for all ages.
April 20th - 21st - Annual "Spring Fling" will take place
on Hwy 80 at Sundance Square. Sponsored by the Dragon Fly Studio, the
show will feature approximately. 25 artists, live music, garden
accessories, the whimsical, and Huc-a-poos wonderful BBQ. For more info,

April 20th - 21st - Your Secret Garden, Tybee Oaks. Last
opportunity to purchase plants and other items.
April 26th - The Sand Gnats will do a "Salute to Tybee Island
Night" at 7:05pm at Grayson Stadium. One or our community dignitaries
will throw the first pitch. A resident of our choice will perform the
national anthem and the Police and Fire Departments officials and
vehicles will be on display. Tickets run from $5 to $5.50. To order

Announcements:
The Tybee Art Association will be moving its gallery into the space next
to the Visitors Center on Hwy 80 and Campbell Ave., (currently occupied
by the T.A.G.). A Gallery Opening, Art Classes, and Summer workshops are

The Sunset Boardwalk Arts Festival will be street level, next to the
pavilion. Currently slated to begin the second Saturday in May. The fee
