Officers responded to a lookout call for a possible impaired driver. After encountering the vehicle on Highway 80, they ran the tag. Officers initiated a traffic stop and approached the vehicle to speak with the elderly female driver. The woman stated that she was on her way home from church and had taken a wrong turn somewhere. Officers then contacted Savannah Police Department to inquire if a missing person report had been filed. They came to find that one had been reported. The officers then had her follow them to the Police Station. They then made contact with Savannah Police Department officials to make arrangements for her to be picked up by family members to insure she arrived home safely.

In reference to a domestic dispute, officers arrived to speak with the complainant who stated that his neighbor and her small child had come to his residence and that the mother was bleeding from her hand. The victim stated that she and her boyfriend had an argument and that she wanted him to leave the residence. After speaking with the boyfriend, he stated that they had a verbal argument and that she had put her fist through a fish aquarium. She was transported to Memorial Medical Center for treatment and the child was left with the boyfriend.

A local hotel called in a complaint of a man on the second floor who was passed out and refusing to go back to his room. When officers arrived, they were directed to the vending room where they observed a man lying on the floor asleep. A strong odor of alcohol was coming from his being. Officers tried verbally to awaken the man and finally shook him to get his attention. When questioned about where he was staying he stated his room number and started to lay back down. The officers instructed him to get up and return to his room. When prompted three times to return to his room, the subject became verbally abusive and agitated. When warned about his aggressive behavior, he made an threatening move towards the officers and after a brief struggle, pepper spray was used to control the suspect and he was placed under arrest for Public Drunkenness, Disorderly Conduct and Willfully Obstructing or Hindering Law Enforcement.

The next night officers are responding to a report of a man down. Officers arrive to find an individual on the shoulder of the road. The subject was passed out and had the profound odor of alcohol on his breath. While attempting to bring the subject around and awake, officers recognized him from a previous arrest the night before and he had resisted arrest then (the vending room incident). The subject suddenly came around and began to resist officers once again. With a new listing of the same charges as the night before, the Judge placed him under a $35,000 cash only bond and had him transported to the Chatham County Detention Center.

Officers responded to an anonymous complaint of an incident regarding the threat of physical violence to an individual. Upon arrival, officers spoke to individuals of the complaint. One of the individuals stated that she had received a telephone call from two females. In this conversation, she stated that the two female individuals told her that they were going to get her a birthday present. When she asked what it was, they replied that they were going to come to her house and "kick her ass". When asked what she thought had caused this treat, she replied that several other incidents had occurred with the individuals that involved them coming to her residence uninvited. All individuals involved had been friends in the past, but they had a falling out and had since parted ways as friends. When the officers asked if she felt threatened by their statements, she replied that she did. Extra patrols were put on the residence to insure the victim's safety.
