Tybee Island Tourism Council to Host Quarterly Meetings

Beginning in March, the Tybee Tourism Council will begin hosting quarterly meetings for all businesses on Tybee Island. These meetings will allow those who do not come to the monthly Tybee Tourism Board of Director meetings to come and learn what topics are discussed and implemented for the marketing efforts of Tybee Island.
“This meeting will be an introduction to the mission and work of the council, who the volunteers on the board of directors are, how we determine what is important for marketing Tybee and how to go about it,” says Jack Boylston, Chairman of the Tybee Tourism Council, “Once someone attends this first quarterly meeting, they will be able to come to a board meeting and feel like they are oriented into the current discussions and decisions the board implements for the marketing of Tybee as a top tourism destination.”
All of the monthly board meetings are open to anyone who would like to attend as a guest; the quarterly meetings are also open to anyone who is interested in attending. Please join us for the first of these quarterly meetings on Wednesday, March 19, 2003 at 5:30 p.m. at the Ocean Plaza Beach Resort.
